Sure you can, but only as a base of discussion. As this is no official medium of TRADOS / SDL I cannot warrant that it will be entered into our bug system.

As I described in another field, I got a problem with Workbench 719 and Multiterm 361, which leaded Workbench to throw every now and then (but very often) an error of MS C++ R6025 “pure virtual function call”. The error message says only that there was this particular error and you can just click OK. Doing so causes WB to close (but the TUs are saved!). However, you can work further, producing numerous errors, all the same. The error messages appear in the backround, popping on Windows task bar, but do not need to be closed.
I also had a problem with some Word files, which I opened and translated without any problems in TAG Editor. But after the translation I was not able to save back as Word. So I took the same file, which wasn´t translated, opened it in TAG Editor and tried to save it then back as Word, WITHOUT any translating, but also to no avail.
Both problems were reported via your support page.

This is a great initiative!
Can I ask for your advice: what is the best way to report a bug to SDL/Trados, if I want them to deal with it (maybe update the KB or work on a fix for a future release)?
At my last job, we did bug reporting and Alpha testing for Apple.
The SDL website gives no encouragement to submit bugs, and I can’t really find any documentation in the software either.
Which channel would lead me to the right guys? Just sending an e-mail to support? Or do you have a standalone bug report tool (like RADAR for Apple)?

@Reino: I believe that some of the TagEditor related items on your bug list (for example inclusion of trailing spaces when double-clicking a word) have been fixed since 7.0 – you may want to consider updating the list.

I bought Trados 2006 and have not been able to use it, as it appears to require a good deal of training. There is no documentation which allows me to get to using the software–rather, I have to become “software certified” in order to do so.
I thought that such old-world thinking had gone the way of the minicomputer! When I buy Microsoft Office, I don’t have to take a friggin’ course.
I translate at 100wpm, so I don’t need this software. I did get SDL clipboard, which works fine. I only miss the glossary, which would be helpful in some cases.
